Information Collected

We collect two types of data and information from Users.

The first type relates to non-identified and non-identifiable information about a User (or multiple Users) that may be available or collected through the use of the Site (“Non-personal Information”). Collected Non-personal Information may include aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by the device, such as certain software and hardware information (e.g., browser type and operating system used by the device, language preferences, access time, etc.), used to enhance the functionality of our Site. We may also collect information about User activity on the Site (e.g., viewed pages, online navigation, clicks, actions, etc.).

The second type, Personal Information, includes information that can personally identify a User, i.e., information that identifies an individual or can identify them with reasonable effort. This information includes:

  • Device Information: We collect personal information from devices, including geolocation data, IP address, unique identifiers (e.g., MAC addresses and UUIDs), and other information related to User activity throughout the Site.
  • Registration Information: When the User registers on our Site, they are required to provide certain details such as name, email, or physical address.

  • When the User voluntarily provides personal data to register on the site.
  • When the User uses our Site or accesses it in connection with the use of our services.
  • From third-party providers, services, and public records (e.g., traffic analysis providers).
  • Use and Sharing of Information

We may use information for the following purposes:

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests.

Enforce our policies (including the Contract), including investigations into potential violations.

Investigate, detect, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities or other illicit actions, suspected fraud, or security issues.

Establish or exercise our rights to defend against legal claims.

Cookies

We and our trusted partners use cookies and other technologies in our services, including when the User visits our site or accesses our services.

A “cookie” is a small text file that a website assigns to the device while viewing a website. Cookies are very useful and can be used for various purposes, including efficient navigation between pages, enabling the automatic activation of certain features, remembering preferences, and making the interaction between the User and our services easier and faster. Cookies are also used to ensure that displayed ads are relevant to the User and their interests and to compile statistics on the use of our services.

The Site uses the following types of cookies:

‘Session cookies’ that are temporarily stored during a browsing session to enable the normal use of the system and are deleted from the device when the browser is closed.

‘Persistent cookies’ that are read only by the Site, stored on the computer for a set period, and are not deleted when the browser is closed. These cookies are used when we need to identify the User for repeat visits, such as to allow us to remember their preferences for the next login.

‘Third-party cookies,’ set by other online services, run content on the page being viewed, such as analytics companies monitoring and analyzing our web access.

Cookies do not contain all information that personally identifies the User, but Personal Information we store about the User may be linked to and obtained from cookies. Users can remove cookies by following the instructions in device preferences. However, choosing to disable cookies may affect some features of our Site and limit the online experience.

We use a tool based on Snowplow Analytics technology to collect information about Site usage. The tool collects information such as how often Users access the site, which pages they visit when they do, etc. The tool does not collect any personal information and is used only by our hosting and Site management service provider to improve the Site and its services.

Use of Script Libraries (Google Web Fonts)

To present our content correctly and graphically pleasing in all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to the browser’s cache to avoid loading them multiple times. If the browser in use does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font.

  • The use of script or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In theory, it is possible – but currently unclear if, and in that case, for what purpose – that operators of the corresponding libraries collect data.
  • The privacy policy of the Google library operator is available here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

Third-Party Information Collection

Our policy solely concerns the use and disclosure of information collected from the User. To the extent that the User discloses information about themselves to other parties or sites on the Internet, different rules may apply to the use or disclosure of information transmitted to them. Consequently, we encourage Users to read the terms and conditions and the privacy policy of each third party to whom they choose to disclose their information.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies we do not own or control, or to individuals who do not work for us and whom we do not manage, including third parties who may disclose information as provided in this Privacy Policy.

Information Care

We prioritize the implementation and maintenance of Site security and user information. Although we have taken all reasonable steps to safeguard information, we cannot be responsible for acts of those who gain unauthorized access or improperly use our Site, and we provide no express, implied, or other type of warranty that we will prevent such access.

Data Transfer Outside the European Economic Area

Note: some data recipients may be located outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we will transfer data only to countries approved by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection, or we will enter into legal agreements to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

Advertising

We may use third-party advertising technologies to display advertisements when the User accesses the Site. These technologies use customer information related to the use of the Services to provide advertisements (e.g., placing third-party cookies on the User’s web browser).

The User can disable many third-party ad networks, including those managed by members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”). For more information on this practice by NAI and DAA members and choices regarding the use of such information by these companies, including how to disable third-party ad networks managed by NAI and DAA members, visit their respective websites: http://optout.networkadvertising.org/#!/ and http://optout.aboutads.info/#!/.

Marketing

We may use Personal Information, such as name, email address, phone number, etc., internally or through third-party collaborators to provide the User with promotional materials related to our services that we believe may interest them.

In respect of User privacy rights, these marketing materials provide means to refuse further marketing offers from us. If the User unsubscribes, we will remove their email address or phone number from our marketing distribution lists.

Note: Even if the User unsubscribes from receiving marketing emails from us, we may send them other types of important email communications without offering the opportunity to opt-out. These communications may include customer service announcements or administrative notices.

Corporate Transaction

We may share information in the event of a corporate transaction (e.g., the sale of a significant portion of our business, a merger, consolidation, or sale of assets). In such cases, the acquiring or acquiring company will assume the rights and obligations as described in this Privacy Policy.

Minors

We are aware of the importance of protecting the privacy of children, especially in an online environment. In no case do we allow minors to use our services without the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a minor has provided Personal Information to us without their consent, they must contact us at syntarquisas@sicurezzapostale.it.

Updates or Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to periodically modify or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the updated Privacy Policy. The latest revision will be indicated in the “Last Modified” section. The continued use of the Platform, following notification of such changes on our website, constitutes acceptance and consent to these changes to the Privacy Policy and agreement to comply with its terms.
